Painted Old Masters

Painted Old Masters are ideally muslin backdrops that are first coated with a layer of paint to formulate the base layer and give some stiffness to the material.

After the base layer, multiple layers of various colours of paint are applied by brush strokes to create a pattern which is both artistic and unique. Handpainted backdrops are made to mimic the kind of backgrounds that were used in the early renaissance paintings.
